You have shipped side projects that nobody uses or pays for
You are tired of founder advice that was written for a team with funding, not for you
You know you should talk to customers and keep putting it off
Why I write this
I spent 10+ years inside B2B SaaS, in customer success, product and operations, from startups to enterprise. Then I started building my own thing from scratch, and most of the advice I found was written for founders with a team and funding.
So I write down what actually happens: the decision I made this week, the number behind it, and the thing that did not work. One lesson per issue, aimed at the phase you are actually in.
If you are building alone around a day job, this is the letter I wish someone had sent me.

Questions about the newsletter
Every Saturday. One issue, short enough to read with your morning coffee before you open your editor.
One real lesson from building alone, with the numbers attached. Issues rotate between four things: which phase your project is actually in and the one move that fits it, how to get real customer signal instead of compliments, the mechanics of getting paid (pricing a first offer, putting up a payment link, onboarding your first five customers), and one sentence of positioning that makes the right person say that is me.

Engineers and product people building a SaaS side project around a day job, who have shipped prototypes nobody paid for and want a first paying customer before another year slips by.
