Privacy Policy

We count visits to understand which pages are useful, using Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool. Page addresses are sent to it without their query strings, and only visits to the live site are counted. This site's own code sets no cookies for visitors, and it carries no other analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

If this site uses a brand font, your browser loads it from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address. Your browser's requests also pass through our hosting provider. Forms on this site are protected from abuse by a limit per IP address; the address is used for that limit and is not saved with your details.

We collect your email address, and your first name if the form asks for it, so we can send you the newsletter. We also keep the date you signed up and how you signed up (for example, the newsletter form or a quiz).

We record when an email to you is reported as delivered, opened, clicked or bounced, or is marked as spam, so we can keep the list healthy and learn what readers find useful. Every newsletter and marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

We collect your email address, your name if you give it, and any answers you submit, so we can show you your result or send you what you asked for. Your details are saved as a contact, and you are added to our newsletter list (where we ask you to confirm by email first, you are not sent the newsletter until you do). You may receive follow-up emails related to it; every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

We collect your name, email address, time zone, the time you chose, and any notes you add, so we can schedule the session. We send you a confirmation with a calendar file, and a reminder before the session. The booking is added to our Google Calendar, and a private video room is created for it with Daily, our video provider. Your details may also be saved as a contact so we can prepare for the conversation.

We collect the answers you submit and use them for the purpose described on the form. If the form asks for your email address, it is saved as a contact.

If you give us a testimonial, we keep what you wrote or recorded, your rating, and your name, job title and company. A testimonial is shown on this site only once it is approved and marked as having permission to publish. You can ask us to take it down at any time.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card details. We keep a record of what you bought, the price, the payment status and the date, linked to your name and email address, for our accounts and to give you access to what you paid for.

Clients have a private area where we share messages, files, tasks, session notes and agreements. We keep what you and we add there so we can deliver the coaching. If you sign an agreement electronically, we record the name you typed, the time, and the IP address it was signed from as evidence of the signature. If you dictate a message, the audio is sent to Deepgram to be turned into text.

A one-to-one session is recorded only with your consent. A group session or workshop may be recorded; you will see a notice before you join, and you can choose not to join. Recordings and their transcripts are used to write session notes.

We use AI services (Anthropic and, if Anthropic is unavailable, OpenAI) to help draft things such as session notes and preparation for a session. To do that, information you have given us, such as a session transcript, a note you added when booking, or your answers to a form, may be sent to these services.

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services that help us run Solo Founder Coach: Coachstack (the platform this site runs on); Vercel (website hosting and file storage); Supabase (database); Umami (website analytics); Upstash (protection from abuse); Google (fonts); Resend (sending email); Google Calendar (scheduling); Daily (video sessions); Stripe (payments); Anthropic and OpenAI (AI drafting); Deepgram (speech to text); Google (optional sign-in).

We keep your information until we delete it; nothing is removed automatically on a schedule. You can ask us to delete it at any time. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address marked as unsubscribed so that we do not email you again by mistake.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or withdraw a consent you have given. To do any of these, email peter@solofoundercoach.com.
