My Last Confession
I wasn't wrong. I was just early.

I have a confession to make, and it's the biggest one yet.
I'm not equipped to coach solo founders. Not yet.
This newsletter has been about the honest side of solo founding, so it would be dishonest to leave this part out: I'm still in the middle of building Coachstack. I haven't crossed the milestones I'd be coaching you toward, the 1K, 5K, 10K, 25K MRR marks. And the truth is, demand for coaching from solo founders won't really show up until Coachstack itself is a success story. People want a coach who's already been where they're going.
So I'm putting Confessions of a Solo Founder on hold for a bit.
What I'm doing instead
Here's what these past few months of building HAVE made me: genuinely skilled at building software with Claude Code.
It started with one day on Presidents' Day, building my first website. Then more landing pages and more in-depth sites. Then the full admin portal behind solofoundercoach.com, the one that powered this newsletter, the lead magnet, and everything else you've received from me. And now the full Coachstack app. This past week I hit a milestone I've been chasing for a while: the Coachstack desktop app was approved by Apple, so it can be downloaded and installed on a Mac.
That skill is something I can teach right now. So I'm launching Claude Code Bootcamp, and the first cohort is free.
The bootcamp will run on Coachstack itself, which means I'll be using my own product to deliver it. If you've ever wanted to build the software you wish existed, without being an engineer, this is for you.

This isn't goodbye
My focus for the rest of the year is simple: get Coachstack into the hands of more coaches and get the Claude Code Bootcamp curriculum dialed in so that come October, I can open it up as a paid program.
I fully expect this newsletter to return. When it does, it'll be written by someone who's actually walked the road.
I don't think I was wrong. I was just early.
Thank you for your support. It has meant more than you know.
That's all for now.
Peter

Coaching for bootstrapped solo SaaS founders.
I spent 10+ years in B2B SaaS across Customer Success, Product Management, Solutions Engineering, and Operations, from startups to enterprise. Along the way I led a roughly $3M ARR book as a Customer Success leader and shipped digital products, and every role taught me the same things about how businesses grow: listen to customers, build what people want, and sell without being pushy. But the most useful education has been building my own thing from scratch.
